We Made an Alley Mural at our Crossroads Venue!

After making the decision to host First Fridays Sip & Shop Events, we understood the importance of sprucing up the alley! Follow our progress through pictures here:

This used to be our alley and entrance! It was fun and festive, but we thought it lacked something.

Armed with our Pin Board and a cleverly acquired metal stencil, we struck out to make mural magic!

The paint we bought promptly fell out of the cart and on to the parking lot at Home Depot. Oops!

First, we had to cover over the OLD mural that was looking a little worn... Hi, Megan! Looking good!!

Then the challenge was deciding the precise location for our mandalas and planning the layout of the path!

We also had to play around with the paint and the stencil to figure out how to align everything just right!

AND HERE ...OUR FIRST MANDALA IS COMPLETE!

Now we just have to do that about 20 more times!

While we were in a fix-it-up mode, we went ahead and did MORE!

We did some planting, hung address numbers, hung string-lights, and to top it all off,

our landlord repainted our whole building!!!

AND HERE WE GO!!! THE FINAL PRODUCT!

And now we have a perfect little spot for folks to take pictures and hang out!
